What Is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a comprehensive, nature-based healing system and a beautiful path to well-being. While awareness of this sister-science of yoga has grown over the years, there are still so many who don’t really know what it is or how it can help them obtain optimal health — mind, body and spirit.

So I made this short video to explain, as well as to share some insights into what drew me to Ayurveda in the first place.

If you’re already familiar with Ayurveda, I encourage you to listen anyway. After nearly 20 years of studying Ayurveda and seven years working with clients, I still glean a little more insight every time I review the basics or listen to an introductory explanation of this vast and rich science. Ayurveda always presents layers to peel back for deeper understanding.
